We're seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer proficient in Ruby and JavaScript to join us in our mission.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our aerospace collaboration platform. Your expertise in Ruby and JavaScript will be key to architecting and implementing robust, scalable solutions across the full software development lifecycle. You'll collaborate closely with the CTO and other team members to drive innovation and shape the future of aerospace.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Ruby, Go, Rust, and JavaScript across the entire stack.
System Architecture: Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable and secure systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Creativity: Identify and implement creative solutions to solve customers needs.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing innovative solutions.

Requirements

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Rust, Ruby, Typescript and/or JavaScript, along with a solid understanding of web development technologies.
Full Stack Experience: Proven experience in full stack development, capable of working on both front-end and back-end aspects including SQL.
AI Experience: A strong understanding of how to use AI/Machine Learning to solve real-world problems.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to tackle challenges and find creative, efficient solutions.
Collaborative Team Player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team environment.
Quality Mindset: Build things that last. We take the long view on technology. Build it right the first time even if it takes longer.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Svelte and web components.
  • Experience with database systems and data modeling, specifically Postgres.
  • Knowledge of best practices in software development and version control, specifically git.
  • Experience building and consuming a variety of web service APIs.
